Are you the Future Actuary Undergraduate of the Year?

We’re searching UK universities to find the Future Actuary of the Year. We’re looking for commercially minded students who aspire to an actuarial career with impact.

Win

You could win a ten-week paid actuarial summer internship with Aon starting in June 2023. This will be rotational, giving you insights into wealth, general insurance and reinsurance. In addition, you’ll receive 1-2-1 mentoring from an actuarial colleague at associate partner level.

All finalists will all be assessed for Aon’s summer internship or industrial placement roles starting in 2023 as well as receiving Aon merchandise.

What makes an award winner?

Our winner will have a real interest in pursuing an actuarial career: Aon has designed this award to help aspiring actuaries launch their careers through valuable paid work experience and mentoring opportunities. You’ll need to be studying a numerical degree such as maths, actuarial science or another STEM subject. You will also have:

  • strong communication and analytical skills
  • commercial awareness
  • the drive to deliver excellent work
  • lots of ambition and an enthusiastic approach
  • the ability to form positive relationships

Our winner should also be able to articulate how they share Aon’s values, which are the foundation of everything it does:

How do I win?

Register your details online and answer the three questions set by Aon.

Online tests

Receive an email inviting you to sit two online tests designed exclusively by our partner SHL.

Must be completed by 30.01.23

Submit by 30.01.23

Your details must be submitted and all online tests completed by 30 January 2023.

If you are successful in getting through to the next stage, you will hear from us by 28 February 2023.

Assessment centre

If you pass the online tests and successfully make it to the next stage your application will be reviewed by Aon. Successful candidates will be invited to a 1.5 day assessment centre at Aon's London office on Thursday 23 and Friday 24 February.

Grand final

The final shortlist of ten students will be invited to the awards ceremony on 21 April 2023, where the award winners will be announced.
