Are you the National Security Undergraduate of the Year?

We're searching UK Universities to find the National Security Undergraduate of the Year. We’re looking for students with exceptional technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and a passion for innovation.

To enter you must:

  • Be an undergraduate or postgraduate student at a University in the UK
  • Be in your first or second year of a three –year course or your second or third year of a four – year course.
  • Be able to satisfy the security requirements to hold a position at AWE. You must be hold a UK passport, and have lived in the UK for 10 years.

Applications are open to students from any degree dicipline, but we are particularly eager to hear from students with a keen interest in civil or structural engineering, mechanical, materials engineering, or those with a flare for electronics, electrical, robotics or radar.

If you are successful in getting through to the next stage, you will hear from us by 28 February 2025

Assessment

If you pass the online tests and successfully make it to the next stage, you may be invited to a short telephone interview with AWE.

Grand final

The final shortlist of ten students will be invited to the awards ceremony on 25 April 2025, where the award winners will be announced.
